OMNIGROUP INSURANCE SUCKS AND A RIP OFF-STAY AWAY!!!
After nearly 3 yrs of zero claims, I tried claiming for my bakkies broken ignition keys(R10000), the remotes rubber buttons had perished due to wear and tear. I was asked to fill in the required details with pics, which I did. But the emails kept coming- where did it happen, on which date, why did they break.I am a busy person with limited time and don't appreciate their claims process as they are the middle man between yourself and the insurers so instead of speaking to one person, you are always been sent questions from another which has been sent from another.I decided to rather cancel as I was used to a faultless easy claim process in the past with previous companies, and not being faced with lots of stupid questions, which in my opinion were just a smoke haze to not pay.Turns out it was the best decision in a long time.My new insurance company is bigger better and much more professional, many many more benefits for R1000+ less per months Unfortunately I took the bad advice of a colleague and ultimately 'Paid the price'
Judging by the reviews, it seems like these little mickey mouse places just want to suck you dry and won't pay ANYONE out in a hurry if 'Their Insurers' can get away with it.Stay away-You HAVE been warned.
