Poor workmanship
Cheap material, cheap labour, arrogance. Houses with lots of defects from time you move in. Don't deserve a single star. Won't recommend them to anyome who take themselves serious.
Beware of whom you trust to build your home
I bought my house from Kaan Development and my occupancy was January 2020. As a new house within 3 months I submitted a snag list as required by law. An appointment was made I March 2020 that by 06 April 2020 they will be starting with my snag list. Unfortunately due to the lockdown that didn't happen. When the restrictions started to be lifted, the developer went to other houses even my neighbors to do their snag lists. I kept on sending emails as a reminder. The last email sent was on 10/01/2020. That is were a received a response from Mark de Beers the developer 's son that they won't be doing my house as it is now a year. The house has the following issues: Leaking roof,Cracked walls, stormwater not directed, electrical and plumbing issues. Which can amount to over hundred if I repair that. It is very clear to me Kaan development or Mark de Beers does not take their clients seriously. For those who want to buy new houses be careful who you buy from. Hope this review will open eyes of lots of people around South Africa
Future Buyers and Real Estate agents be very Careful.!!
Kaan Development and Liesel Adlu is highly unprofessional and unethical.!
They will act if they want to buy a vacant land for a future development from a Real Estate Agent, with the purpose to acquire a seller/clients personal details and to cut out the the agent, even if they have a valid estate agency Mandate. Then they will contact the sellers personally and try to convince them to cancel a mandate in order to cut out the estate agents commission and make a lower offer. Now look I totally understand how the industry works, but according to how ethical they operate and if they colour in between lines, I will give them a -1 if I could.
