Klein Oasis Vakansie Oord

Zero stars for this place!! We did not expect 5 star, but we also didn't expect what we found. We had booked to stay for the weekend of 27 to 29th October 2023. We arrived, but didn't stay. There was no one on site to greet us, or for us to ask questions of. No sheets on very worn and dirty mattresses (yet sheets were promised in prior correspondence). Kitchen cupboard rotting away in Cabin D. 2 plate stove so rusted and filthy, you'd get a gastro infection for sure. Couldn't lock the door to the cabin, so if you plan on going out and leaving stuff in the cabin, be warned that it has the potential to disappear. Single women - don't go there!
The interior of the cabin was filthy. Braai grid was so badly bent that it would have been impossible to braai on.
Sheep poop wherever you walk. No power and therefore no water. The power outage apparently lasted over 12 hours. Cabin D lost part of its roof the first night we were supposed to stay there. Yes, there was a big storm, but one would expect buildings to be secure.
Bath very badly stained (dirty?). Toilets dysfunctional and no loo paper provided.
You're better off taking a tent and camp somewhere! It would be healthier.
No response from the owners after complaints. False advertising in the extreme. It is criminal to charge for something that is unlivable! It is certainly NOT an "oasis".

2maande terug het ons n advertensie gesien van ,n familie naweek bespreking wat ons kan doen om al die huisete vat en afslag dan te kry ,ons het bespreking ingesit ,en hulle wou die geld dadelik betaal he vir die bespreking, ons het so gedoen ,n maand terug kontak die bestuurdame my en se sy moet kanseleer weens probleme en eienaarskap en sy gaan loop by kleinoasis ,so doende is dit dat ons ons geld sal terug kry ,daar was baie gepraat en sy sou gerugbetaal ,ons het toe op n ander plek bespreking gemaak vir die familie byeenkoms en moes hulle ook betaal ,wat reg is ,maar EK STAAN AL 2 MAANDE OM MY GELD BY KLEIN OASIS TERUG TE KRY ,HULLE SE 5 DESEMBER SAL SY TERUG BETAAL ,NOU SE MY ,EK MOES DADELIKBETAAL MAAR WEENS HULLE KANSELASIE EN PROBLEME MET EIENAAR EN STORIES EN ALS MOET EK NOU ,2 MAANDE WAG ,EK SIEN DIT AS ONREGVERDIG EN SWAK BESTUUR ,DIT KOS ONS AS FAMILIE DUBBEL BETAAL VIR ONS TYD EN VERMAAK ,EK HOOP DAT ONS BETALING GEDOEN GAAN WEES ,SAL JULLE OP HOOGTEHOU DQ GROETE
