Brooklyn Car Wash

I would strongly advise against using this company due to their lack of accountability and poor service. My recent experience with them was unacceptable.

I took my Range Rover in for a car wash, and when I collected it, I noticed that the indicator cover was missing. Unfortunately, the business was already closed for the day when I arrived, but my girlfriend had picked up the keys earlier. Upon discovering the missing cover, I searched the area around their car wash booth but couldn’t find it.

I called the owner, who directed me to one of his employees. When I explained the situation, the employee assured me they would look for the cover first thing the following morning. Later that evening, the employee called back, stating they were aware the cover had fallen off and had placed it on the front left seat of the car. I checked thoroughly, but it wasn’t there. When I informed him of this, I received a WhatsApp message from another staff member insisting it was on the seat. Again, I reiterated that it was not.

The next morning, I received a message from the same employee stating that they had found the indicator cover but that it was broken. At no point did the owner contact me to take responsibility, offer an apology, or provide a resolution.

This wasn’t the first incident with my family. Before my car, my brother had taken his new Ford Ranger to the same company for a car wash. After the wash, he noticed that one of the covers on the cab at the back was missing. He brought this up with the staff, and while they reviewed the surveillance footage, my brother and I found the missing cover ourselves on the floor of their wash booth, lying in the water.

I obtained a quote for a used replacement part for my Range Rover and sent the invoice to both the owner and a staff member, Jack. The owner replied, stating he would “get on it right away,” but no action was taken. I followed up the next day, asking if they had settled the invoice, as I could not drive safely in the rain without the part. Still, I received no feedback.

In the meantime, I purchased the replacement part myself, as I couldn’t wait indefinitely for them to address the issue. As a business owner, I would expect them to take responsibility for damages caused by their staff and resolve matters promptly to maintain customer trust. Unfortunately, this company failed to meet even basic standards of accountability and customer service.

I will never use their services again and will ensure that my colleagues and community are made aware of these incidents to avoid similar experiences. Just to add, they didnt even clean my car properly. I found some dirt and garbage in the car.
