Check for existing damages on arrival, otherwise he will blame you and your family after, then try take your deposit.
He's a dishonest and arrogant person, who will try to find any fault in order to win a quick buck!

He is currently being investigated by Booking.com for his false advertisement, non compliance with their booking policy and failing to repay a deposit after he assured he would do so.

While the properties he rents out are fine, I would feel guilty if I recommended that anybody to give their money to the owner (Geoff Mills). To get an idea, read any of his responses to any negative reviews on his properties. He improperly communicates, and is liable to changing terms or prices after the fact. He has some dishonest practices, ignored several requests to generate an official paper trail, and like other reviewers have mentioned will try his very best to blame any fault on you (either on his own bookkeeping or on the property).
